STEPPING UP!
20,000 + Pounds of Clothing & Food Distributed by the Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee
On Saturday, December 6, 2025, the Stars & Stripes NOVA Committee distributed:
- More than 20,000 + pounds of non-perishable grocery items, fresh produce, bread, hygiene products, toys, dishware, and clothing were placed into the hands of those who needed them most. Children left with warm coats. Veterans, caregivers, and the community in need received the food that would carry them through the coming weeks. Families who had been struggling felt, for a moment, a bit lighter and a lot more seen.
- One hour. Zero leftover supplies. Countless lives touched. But the true force behind this impact was the heart of the community in Herndon, Virginia. This event was more than a distribution, it was a lifeline for families facing hardship, a moment of community solidarity, and a reminder that when we come together, we can rise to meet even the most urgent needs and "Leave No One Behind".
The impact of this event would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers and sponsorships, including
